Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)

Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) provide counselling and other forms of assistance, advice and information to employees. An EAP is a confidential service, usually available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Practical and emotional support is available to employees and their immediate family members.

Whatever the situation, be it workplace-related, financial or personal, such a programme can offer support to an employee in distress. Some services also offer support for managers on how to handle difficult employees or issues. EAPs give employees reassurance and peace of mind, helping them to tackle any issues they may have, allowing them to work effectively and efficiently.

Employers can be confident that issues are being dealt with in a consistent and professional manner, whilst the programme itself also reassures employees that their employers have a responsible and caring attitude towards their continued wellbeing.

Fair Care can assist on the selection and implementation of Employee Assistance Programmes. Please contact us for more information.
